Welcome to The Tea Therapist.

Let me tell you a little bit about my journey so far.

I consider myself to be an Integrative Naturopath as I come from a nursing background having worked in both General Nursing and Aged Care. I have always loved people and loved helping them in a holistic way which developed into a passion for Natural Therapies including Nutrition and Naturopathy complementing my previous profession. I have worked as a wellness expert in a retail environment, giving health advice on supplements, herbs, foods, teas and other products.

Through life experiences I am constantly brought back to the basis of all herbal medicine - herbal teas. Herbal teas are plants, which have active chemical components, which can be brewed weak or strong, served hot or cold, fruit or honey added, you decide! They are therapeutic yet gentle on the body, hydrating, and a very simple way of helping the body deal with chronic illness and ailments from our modern lifestyle. I see a pattern and have based my teas, some simples and some blends, around four key areas of Calm, Cleanse, Energise and Reward.

I have tried to be aware of the environment using only Australian Certified Organic herbs, amber glass apothecary jars, brown recycled paper, biodegradable cello bags and chlorine free biodegradable tea bags.

I am constantly developing my tea range, using family and friends as taste testers and am always open to any new ideas or information that could improve the tea.

ENJOY!
